Gary Barnidge (born September 22, 1985 in Middleburg, Florida) is an American football tight end for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Panthers in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisville.
Barnidge played college football at Louisville where he played in 48 games including 29 starts and recorded 108 receptions for 1,491 yards and 17 touchdowns. He majored in sports administration.
Barnidge was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round (141st overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft.
In 2011, Gary along with great friend & Louisville Cardinal teammate, Breno Giacomini of the Seattle Seahawks started a non for profit organization called American Football without Barriers.
